to Vermont,Illinois which served Canton and Lewistown at one time with
passenger and feight trains. From Dunfermline to Yates City BNSF has stopped
using those segments removing tracks from Canton to Farmington in early 2017.
The tracks of the old sub remain in Yates City or did the last time i checked. It
has probably been left in case BNSF wants to ever store a car or so there if needed.
The depot at the park next to the sub's old tracks were moved from one location to
this one so it's not in it's original location. There is an old Burlington Northern
caboose also on display next to the depot.
