Kellar Branch & old Rock Island tracks and spur track.

I will add history and information as i go along. This blog post will be about the
Old Kellar Branch- Rock Island Railroad line. The Kellar Branch and the city of
Peoria had a huge battle over rights for several years.  Pioneer was serving a lumber
company in Peoria until the city of Peoria pretty much screwed them over.  Quite a
bit of the old line is now gone removed to make a silly trail Alot of the Rock Island
up to north has been gone for years for an exception of what was left in Peoria and
some of that is now gone too other than tracks off Pioneer Parkway and Allen road
back to a UP line I think. Alot of this need to go and fill in more history. I however
have taken some pictures of  the line as well as a spur track. I will take more later
as well.

This is a spur track off North Sommer  Street in Peoria not far from Pioneer Parkway.
It is owned by the city of Peoria i think or was told. It is not offically abandoned I don't
think but it is apparent it hasn't been used in atleast a few years.
